Abstract

Digital literacy culture is very necessary in people's lives. Pandemic conditions have increased internet use, but not all of the content presented on the internet is positive, so digital literacy is important. This community service aims to educate the group of mothers in Banguntapan Asri Jambidan Bantul housing complex about digital literacy and culture, because in their daily activities mothers cannot be separated from the gadgets they use, both to accompany their children in studying, playing or surfing the world. virtual. By understanding and being able to sort out the information presented in cyberspace, mothers will get the correct information and avoid bad things. This is an effort to strengthen digital literacy and culture among mothers at the Banguntapan Asri Jambidan Bantul housing complex. This activity is presented in the form of lectures and questions and answers at regular monthly meetings, in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, it is hoped that mothers will be able to better understand the material presented. The initial result of this community service activity is to increase the insight of mothers, especially the group of mothers in the Banguntapan Asri Jambidan Bantul housing complex, about digital literacy and culture, so that they can anticipate and filter information that has negative content for themselves and their families.
