Abstract
The Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Program (PAMSIMAS) is one of the government’s initiatives to improve community access to clean water and proper sanitation in rural areas. This training and socialization activity was conducted in Pringsewu Regency with the aim of enhancing community knowledge and skills in managing drinking water facilities and promoting clean and healthy living behaviors. The implementation methods included counseling, interactive discussions, and field practice involving local residents and village officials. The results indicated an increase in participants’ understanding of sustainable water management and a growing community commitment to maintaining the existing PAMSIMAS facilities. This activity is expected to serve as a strategic step toward achieving community self-reliance in managing water resources and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the area of clean water and sanitation.
